The first book HEY! I'M A BIG GIRL NOW! is a way to commemorate my daughter's first independent, self-guided achievements like eating, drinking, walking and talking. Milestones that we as parents applaud, but then forget after that moment is over. This second installment, follows Alana's bravery of discovering who she is, as she explores outside environments, uses her voice in confidence and figures out how to face emotional challenges. This project was truly memorable to work on because my daughter and muse participated in the process from beginning to end. Her voice contributed to the imagery and the activities.
